What we do here at By Your Side Recovery is offer addiction recovery services that are designed to radically transform your life for the better through a simple and highly personalized approach.

One of the appeals to our coaching service is that it is offered online, which allows you to discreetly heal from the comfort of your own home or anywhere on the go. Life is busy, which is why our services work around you, instead of you working around us. Unlike other programs, our sessions are customized specifically for your lifestyle and needs.

What also sets By Your Side Recovery apart from other programs is that our addiction recovery specialists teach you how to relax and have fun without alcohol or drugs. How are you expected to know how to attend a wedding, get on a dance floor or hang out in a bar sober? You’re not. These are things our coaches teach you how to do in order to enjoy your new life in recovery.

Our coaching program is an invaluable investment in your future health and happiness. Keep in mind, however, that should you require a medical detox, we can not begin coaching until one is completed. This is for your own safety. By Your Side Recovery does not provide medical services or give medical advice of any kind. If you need resources for detox doctors, rehab facilities, etc., we will very happily connect you. Addiction recovery coaching is also ideal after attending a rehab facility because it provides a "soft landing" which, in turn, reduces your risk of relapse. A rehab provides a safe and controlled environment, but once you return home, life gets real again. There are often triggers and temptations everywhere and one needs to re-learn how to live life in one's normal environment again without substances. It is incredibly beneficial to have a coach by your side to help you stay calm, sober, and tackle any potential roadblocks or obstacles head-on.

Recovery Coaching

If you are looking to discreetly kick an addiction from the comfort of your home, or the convenience of your device, working with a recovery coach is the way to go. Your coach works with you to assess your life and determine the best routes to take to help you overcome your addictions. They hold you accountable, provide resources, teach coping skills, help you identify and tackle possible triggers, and so much more. Your specific goals will determine exactly how your coaching sessions are designed. Working with a coach allows very specified solutions for *your* issues and concerns.

By Your Side Recovery coaches are essentially personal trainers for your mind, body, and spirit. Our coaches never ask you to identify as an alcoholic or addict, nor do they shame or drop you should you relapse. By Your Side Recovery is not a "tough love" style company. We believe in kindness and offer gentle support with all our services.

People are often reluctant to get sober for fear of a boring or miserable life, but a recovery coach’s job is to help you design the life of your dreams where you don’t even miss drugs or alcohol!

Sober Companion Service

Early sobriety can be overwhelming, which is why it is helpful to have someone by your side to hold you accountable and offer comfort and guidance.

Someone newly sober may want a companion to come along to the grocery store because his or her habit for the past several years has been to cruise down the alcohol aisle after visiting the frozen foods section. The companion is there for moral support and to re-train that person to create new habits that do not include their drink or drug of choice. They help identify triggers, make sure your needs are met, and boost your self-esteem while doing so.

They can attend family functions or accompany you to events such as concerts or work parties. This allows you to feel comfortable knowing there will be another person at these events who also will not be drinking or using AND discreetly offers you emotional support in the process.

Please note: we are unable to take on any clients who have a history of violence or could in any way, shape or form put our companions in danger. There are companies specifically trained for these types of situations and we will provide referrals should this be the case.
